C.J. started in the grain industry in 2006 with CHS, where he interned as a broker assistant for Country Hedging (now CHS Hedging) and obtained his Series 3 license. He then spent a number of years trading conventional grains for US Commodities and conventional feed ingredients for Liberty Commodities. Prior to joining Pipeline, he spent three years working for Grain Millers as a senior trader with their organic feed group, trading various organic feed grains and ingredients, and overseeing a food-grade organic corn program. He joins Pipeline as Director of Specialty Feeds North America, where he focuses on developing reliable and stable supply chains for both organic producers and end-users. C.J. resides with his wife, Katie, in Mound, MN where he enjoys boating, golfing, fishing, hunting, and travelling.
