Ryan Zinn is the Organic & Fair Trade Coordinator for Dr. Bronner’s. Ryan also serves on the board of directors for the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) North America and works with Fair World Project and Grow Ahead. Ryan’s path started in Paraguay working with local communities displaced by World Bank funded megaprojects. While working in Chiapas, Mexico, Ryan worked with frontline communities to develop tactics to confront genetically modified corn and the North American Free Trade Agreement. At present, Ryan coordinates international organic and fair trade supply chains for Dr. Bronner’s. Dr. Bronner’s works directly with thousands of small farmers worldwide to source ethical and ecological raw materials. Ryan is currently focused on creating strategies to promote regenerative organic agriculture practices that support small-scale farmers’ livelihoods and to climate change.
