Bety Tovar is a Senior Director for PepsiCo Global Nutrition. She is a food industry professional with over 18 years of diversified technical and managerial experience in product development. She currently leads the Research and Development team for Innovation, Brand Stewardship and Productivity for Quaker North America at the Nutrition R&D Center at Barrington, Ill. During her tenure at PepsiCo, Bety has led several R&D areas across America such as Technical Quality Assurance for PepsiCo Foods Mexico, Product Formulation for Mexico Beverages, Innovation for Quaker Latin America and Technical Brand Lead for Gamesa-Quaker Mexico. Bety holds BS in Food Engineering with a major in Product Innovation from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico She was born and raised in Mexico and now is a permanent resident in the USA. She enjoys gardening and interior decoration and everything related with family activities.
