Carlos leads the sustainability efforts at Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest growing retailers in the country, as Vice President of Legal, Risk and Sustainability. Throughout his career he has worked with top international and cross-border law firms in the U.S. and Mexico, representing U.S. Fortune 500 public and private companies. Carlos joined Sprouts in 2012 and has since driven the grocer’s sustainability programs implemented at nearly 300 stores from coast to coast. Carlos holds a Master of Laws from Northwestern University School of Law and a Licentiate in Law from the University of Monterrey. He is passionate about sustainability and community, and supports various charitable organizations including Feeding America, Autism Speaks, St. Mary’s Food Bank and SAARC. He is a science and nature aficionado and is an avid outdoorsman.
