Laura McCord began her retail career in 2001 working for an independent retailer. From there, she obtained employment with KeHE, a nationwide distributor of natural, specialty and fresh products. Laura has experience as a merchandiser and account manager, with the majority of her time spent in category management. During her career, she has worked closely with vendors on new item introductions and their go-to-market strategy. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Category Management as well as the co-founder of CAREtrade, a committee within KeHE that focuses on vendors that share KeHE’s mission to serve to make lives better. In addition, she is presently working on her Master’s degree in Sustainable Management.
