Don’t Just Eat Good, DO GOOD

GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD exhibits how you can eat good while doing good at Expo West

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA | February 15, 2018 - Hold the sugar, America! Richa Gupta, Founder of Toronto-based company GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD will be exhibiting Canada’s only line of organic ketchup and loose leaf Turmeric Teas at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California from March 8 to 11. A creative foodie and proponent of healthy cooking, Gupta aims to create products that are convenient, contain real ingredients and have a positive impact on the world.

“When it comes to our line of ketchups, my motto is ‘pour the ketchup but hold the sugar,’” explains Gupta. “Our organic ketchups are handmade using organic ingredients. What makes our ketchup stand out is that it is sweetened exclusively with dates and contains 75% less sugar than the well known ketchup brand.”

While Gupta is dedicated to providing healthy eating options for busy families, she is also passionate about making a positive difference in the world through GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD’s Buy One Feed One vision. With every product sold, a meal is donated to a person in need. GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD has distribution in over 450 stores across Canada including Whole Foods, the green grocer which promotes healthy eating, offers natural and organic products and supports local and global communities. Gupta is eager to expand her products into US retailers in order to reach her goal of providing 1 million meals by 2020.

Gupta will also be sharing her line of loose leaf teas with turmeric root with attendees of Expo West, and running a #DoGood giveaway at her booth where people can enter to win a year’s worth of Turmeric Teas. Native to South Asia, the plant has numerous healing and anti-inflammatory benefits; due to its active ingredient curcumin. Turmeric Teas make it easy for people of North America to enjoy the healthy benefits of the spice, without its unpleasant taste.

“I believe that we can bridge the gap between consumption and giving,” says Gupta. “GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD strives to provide good food to everyone and solve world hunger. Attending Natural Products Expo West provides us with an excellent opportunity to share our products with US markets and make an even larger impact.”

Natural Products Expo West will be welcoming thousands of attendees from the natural products community. Guest speakers include Jennifer Garner and John Foraker, Co-founders of Once Upon a Farm; Anne Lappe of Real Food Media and Small Planet Institute & Fund; and Rose Marcario, President & CEO of Patagonia.
