    TORIE & HOWARD FEATURES NEW ORGANIC SOUR

    CHEWIE FRUITIES AT EXPO WEST

    ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 28, 2018 – Torie & Howard is featuring its new line of organic Sour Chewie Fruities at Expo West, booth 5335.

    Sour Chewie Fruities are available in two packaging formats, including 2.1-ounce stick packs, which contain 10 individually wrapped pieces of candy. The stick packs are available in three flavors, including Sour Apple, Sour Cherry and Sour Berry, said Torie Burke, company co-founder. The candy is made in the United States and the stick packs provide 200 percent of the daily requirement of Vitamin C. The suggested retail price is $1.99, and there are 18 to a display case and 12 cases in a master case.

    The new Sour Chewie Fruities also are available in gusseted 4-ounce matte-finish peg packs and come in Sour Apple, Sour Cherry, Sour Berry, and assorted flavors, Burke said. The candy provides the daily requirement of Vitamin C, and the suggested retail price is $3.99. It ships in a display case of six packs with 48 to a master case.

    The sours, as with all Torie & Howard candy, are USDA Organic, kosher certified, contain no artificial dyes, flavors, preservatives or genetically engineered ingredients, and are free from major allergens, including soy, wheat, gluten, nuts and dairy. “Consumers are aware of the benefits of organic choices in their diets and their appetites remain strong for interesting flavors,” Burke said. “Bold sophisticated flavors are something we’ve achieved in all our candy, and we plan to continue line extensions like these new sours.”

    Original Chewie Fruities candy also are available in 4-ounce peg packs and in stick packs. Original flavors include Italian Tarocco Blood Orange and Wildflower Honey, California Pomegranate and Sweet Freestone Nectarine, and Meyer Lemon and Raspberry, also are available in 4-ounce packages and stick packs at the same price points as the sours.     STICK PACK OF CHEWIE FRUITIES ORIGINAL FLAVORS

    EXPANDS RAPIDLY AT RETAIL

    ANAHEIM, Calif., Feb. 28, 2018 – Distribution and retail placements of Torie & Howard’s stick pack of original flavor USDA Organic Chewie Fruities fruit chews continues to grow rapidly since it became available in July, with the grab-and-go packs available at 1,400 retail stores nationwide and an additional 2,000 store placements planned for the first quarter of 2018.
