Chef Anthony Russo’s Introduces New Varieties of Handmade Frozen Pizza with Award-Winning New York-Style Crust

    Chef Anthony Russo’s recently released several new flavors of its handmade, authentic and artisanal pizza, now available with both gluten-free and New York-style crusts. Handcrafted with the Russo’s family recipe since 1978, the new Italian-Style Meat Lovers and Prosciutto and Fig pizzas will be displayed and available to try at the Natural Products Expo West Trade Show on March 8-11, 2018.

    Held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, the expo will feature more than 3,500 exhibiting companies that authentically support long‐term healthy lifestyles and are more sustainable for the planet. Chef Anthony Russo’s will be located at booth 8505 for visitors looking to learn more about the line and to try a slice of pizza. The pizza will also be showcased in the New Product section.

    Each pizza from the Chef Anthony Russo’s line uses premium mozzarella cheese, Chef Anthony’s sauce made with fresh-packed tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil from the Russo family olive grove in Sicily. The new pizzas perfectly complement the six existing flavors that have already received high praise from the press and gluten-free community alike.

    “After finding success by providing guests the only New York-style gluten-free frozen pizza on the market with six delectable options, we decided to expand our flavors and crusts,” said Chef Anthony Russo, founder and CEO of Russo’s Restaurants and the creative mastermind for the retail line that is currently sold in more than 3,000 U.S. grocery stores. “Our pizzas use the highest quality ingredients and are handmade, offering a healthy alternative to consumers.”

    Each pizza is handcrafted with fresh, all natural ingredients, no preservatives, nitrates, rSBT and zero pre-frozen toppings. The pizzas feature the best, authentic Italian ingredients, including zesty tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, uncured, sliced pepperoni and Italian roasted peppers.

    From the new artisanal Prosciutto & Fig pizza, topped with Sicilian olive oil, fresh arugula, sliced prosciutto and fig preserves to the Italian-Style Meat Lovers, made with Italian sausage, perfectly spiced pepperoni, beef sausage, roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese and full-flavored pizza sauce, Russo’s has lit the frozen pizza industry on fire with flavor. Additional varieties include the Mulberry and Chicken Rustica, now available with both crusts.
