Viking Masek launches dual-lane STANDCAP pouch packaging machine

Innovative new packaging shape now available for premade pouch machines

Viking Masek, a leader in durable, innovative packaging machinery, has launched a new configuration of its rugged premade pouch machines which will allow manufacturers to fill and seal STANDCAP pouches. Previously, the STANDCAP pouch could be produced only on a horizontal form fill and seal machine.

Perfect for a wide variety of liquid products in the food and personal care industries, Viking Masek’s new duplex premade pouch machine configuration opens the world of flexible packaging up to products more commonly packaged in rigid containers.

This innovative machine configuration is the result of a collaboration with R.A. Jones, part of Coesia, an innovation-based industrial and packaging solutions company; Glenroy, the premade STANDCAP pouch provider; Aptar, the fitmentsupplier; and Viking Masek packaging machinery.

“While the STANDCAP pouch has provided manufacturers with a strong competitive advantage, it was previously only available to companies able to purchase and run production on a horizontal form fill seal machine.
