Overview:Dr. Praeger’s was founded in 1994 by two practicing cardiac surgeons with a simple mission – to provide a way of eating that furthers wellness through great tasting and nutritious products. An innovator in the natural food industry, Dr. Praeger’s was among the first to offer a portfolio of flavorful, convenient, good-for-you products free of artificial ingredients, colors and fillers. Its best-selling California Veggie Burgers were a hit with consumers long before frozen “natural” foods became a hot commodity.

Dr. Praeger’s remains a family-owned and operated business based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and continues to innovate under the leadership of Dr. Peter Praeger’s son, Larry. Dr. Praeger’s has expanded its product line to include dozens of great-tasting meals and snacks that are staples in healthy homes throughout the United States and Canada.

Product Line: Dr. Praeger’s product line consists of all natural frozen foods that contain no trans fats, no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors, and are low in saturated fat and cholesterol. All of Dr. Praeger’s items are Non-GMO Project Verified or pending. The product line includes veggie burgers, breaded fish, seafood burgers and bites, veggie cakes, hash browns, bowls, kids’ products and veggie puffs, tallying over 50 items. Dr. Praeger’s new Pure Plant Protein Line includes plant-based burgers, chick’n tenders and breakfast sausage.
