    BROOKLYN, NY (March 8, 2018) – Les Trois Petits Cochons, the nation’s leading charcuterie and pt brand, will debut four new additions to the brand’s lineup of organic French specialty food products, along with two unique sausages at this year’s Natural Products Expo West -- booth #384. The award-winning, New York-based company, has a long-standing reputation for combining elevated with accessible, and will be showcasing the new Organic Pt Basque, Organic Mousse Basque, Saucisson Sec Basque, Organic Mousse Truffe, and Organic Caperberries, along with a new Chicken Basque Sausage and Chicken Chorizo Sausage.

    Les Trois Petits Cochons will be sampling the following products at Natural Products Expo West:

    • Organic Pt Basque & Organic Mousse Basque: These two new additions to the organic line are filled with the subtle yet distinct flavor of AOC protected Espelette Pepper. This AOC label, or appellation d'origine contrle, states that the product fits under French government regulations. This pepper comes from a variety of chili peppers grown exclusively in the Basque country. The fresh and fruity flavor profile with a hint of heat allows Espelette to be spicy without being overpowering - these characteristics, combined with the craftsmanship of Les Trois Petits Cochons’ production, makes for a truly unique bite. Both products are all natural, gluten-free and do not contain nitrites or nitrates.

    • Saucisson Sec Basque: Available whole or sliced, this air dried sausage is made with a savory blend of pork, salt and Espelette Peppers. Both products are all natural, gluten-free and do not contain nitrites or nitrates.

    • Chicken Basque Sausage: Made with antibiotic and hormone free chicken, the new Chicken Basque Sausage features a staple ingredient of Basque cuisine, the Espelette Pepper. Packed in a natural lamb casing, it is tender, juicy, bold in flavor, and gluten and preservative free.

    • Chicken Chorizo Sausage: Incredibly flavorful with a hint of spice, the Chicken Chorizo Sausage is made with antibiotic and hormone free chicken, it is gluten-free, preservative free, and packed in a natural lamb casing.

    • Organic Mousse Truffe: Les Trois Petits Cochons has taken its best-selling mousse and upgraded it to a certified organic product. This mousse is a delectable, all natural combination of chicken liver, truffles, sherry, and Pineau des Charentes that is made, mixed, and sliced by hand.

    • Organic Caperberries: This delicious accompaniment is known as the fruit from the caper bush. Traditionally pickled and slightly crunchy, they’re perfect to eat alone or as a garnish.
