WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH EXTRA SPECIAL FOR 12-YEAR-OLD CANDY INVENTOR AT 2018 NATURAL PRODUCTS EXPO WEST

Seventh Grader Alina Morse to Appear at America’s Premier Natural Products Tradeshow Mar. 7-11(Both# 7804 ACC Level 300).

LOS ANGELES, Mar. 5, 2018 – Michigan 12-year-old Alina Morse is the reigning princess of sugar-free candy and she has the receipts to prove it. The entrepreneur and inventor is leading the next generation of international women leaders and along with celebrating Women’s History Month, each March she also pauses for National Nutrition Month by presenting at the Natural Products Expo West. Morse will again be showcasing her teeth cleaning candy line that includes: Zollipops, Zolli Drops, and Zaffi Taffy.

“Spring is the perfect time to take charge and refresh your health routine by adding guilt-free candy that’s good for your teeth,” said Morse, who just returned from New York City, where she posed with the ‘Fearless Girl’ in the financial district after appearing on CNN. “While National Nutrition Month celebrates the importance of balance and wellness in our daily lives, it’s also important to pause to honor the women that paved a way for someone like me to start a business and be successful.”

At age nine, Morse created and started selling Zollipops, now the #1 tooth-friendly candy in the USA to retailers like Walmart and KROGER, and quickly expanded internationally. At Age 10 she attended the largest candy show in the world, ISM in Germany, securing distribution in: South Korea, France—with leading baby goods manufacturer RD Bijoux, United Kingdom, China, Philippines and several other international markets.

While researching ways to create healthy candy that she could have all the time, Morse discovered that childhood tooth decay was the greatest epidemic facing Kids, while recognizing the power of children’s smiles. She then committed to do something about it. She now commits 10 percent of profits to support an increase in oral health education in schools and along with her “ONE Million Smiles” Initiative, gives away her all-natural candies to schools and dentists who promote that mission.

Morse has shared her vision of schools of the future at the Lincoln Center with the National Principals Leadership Institute, leading others to help her peers and create sustainable programs and businesses to do it while doing good in the world. She’s talked business on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and rubbed elbows with the Sharks on ABC’s Shark Tank. She now returns to Southern California to continue to expand her retail presence by exhibiting at EXPO West, inside the Anaheim Convention Center, through Sun., Mar. 11.

Morse’s line is supercharged with Xylitol, Erythritol (healthy sugar alternatives) and other smile friendly natural ingredients, including magic teeth cleaning crystals. Morse’s Zolli Candy line is natural, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, vegan and non-GMO candy and certified sugar-free by Sugarwise. By helping raise the pH (a scale used to measure acidic or base qualities) in the mouth, Zolli Candy neutralizes acid and help reduce the risk of tooth decay, dental caries and future development of cavities.

Zollipops, Zolli Drops, and Zaffi Taffy are the delicious After You Eat Treat for a healthy smile. To learn more, or to apply for the “ONE Million Smiles” Initiative, please visit www.zolllipops.com.
