Spinster Sisters Co. brings their focus on sustainability to the Natural Products market
Colorado made natural skin care line Spinster Sisters Co. brings their products to Expo West for the first time this March 2018.
Spinster Sisters Co.’s handcrafted soap and skin care products are made from all natural ingredients, are hypoallergenic, and are free of sulfates, phthalates, and parabens. All products are rich with fine ingredients including essential oils, minimally processed plant oils, and botanicals. Spinster Sisters Co. is committed to using ecologically sound ingredients, procedures, and packaging to create the all-natural skincare. All manufacturing takes place at what is fondly referred to as the Microsoapery in Golden, Colorado. The Microsoapery and retail stores are powered 100 percent by wind power through Xcel Energy’s Windsource.
The same care is extended to ingredient sourcing. The palm oil used in the the popular Bath Soap is sustainable, Rainforest Alliance Certified, approved by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, and comes from Colombia to avoid affecting orangutan habitats. The Shea Butter that makes the Body Butter so moisturizing is sourced from Ghana through Global Mamas, an organization that supports the mission of creating prosperity for African women and their families.
To reduce plastic waste, Spinster Sisters Co. uses uncoated paper boxes, 1-3 year biodegradable corn based shrink wrap, metal tins, and glass bottles. Almost all of the plastic packaging used consists of post-consumer recycled material or is 100 percent recyclable #1 PET. Many bottles, tubes, and glass containers are U.S. made and all printing takes place in the U.S.
Spinster Sisters Co. is a face and skin care company that is committed to creating quality skin care using only the best ingredients while simultaneously leaving the smallest ecological footprint possible.
