PORTLAND, OR - On November 1st, Honey Mama’s unveiled its eighth flavor, Ginger Cardamom. Featuring fall-inspired ingredients, our new bar is sure to bring warmth and cheer to your palate this holiday season. Words on the process behind the new bar from founder Christy Goldsby.
“This recipe was created out of a two-year long desire to play with ginger, one of my personal favorite ingredients. The bold avor and aroma of ginger is warming, invigorating, and innately healing. I wanted to let it stand almost alone and chose essential oil of ginger to bring a deeper, velvety expression to its slightly sweet and spicy avor. The cardamom shows up in the nish and adds a wonderful complexity to the bar. Winter 2018 just got a little brighter!”
Ginger is part of the Zingiberaceae family, alongside cardamom and turmeric. With our new bar, we get two out of these three powerful anti-in ammatory siblings. Available online and at select stores starting November 1st. Nationwide rollout January 2018.
